In 2008, in Gambia (Western Africa) Diederik Balk of the Dutch certification organisation DKIK-certificatie BV rediscovered AIPJA, nature's natural remedy for malaria. AIPJA consists of an extract from Neem tree leaves, lemon juice and water. In 2010 a first scientific investigation was performed in collaboration with the Gambian authorities to assess the effects of AIPJA on malaria.
At this moment preparations are in full swing to execute a clinical investigation of the therapeutic effects of AIPJA. At the start of 2013 an autonomic project group was set up.
